Gemma Layton - Compère

Glitter & Titter Cabaret is proud to present your host, the one and only Gemma Layton!

Gemma has been performing in various guises for over 20 years (yes, she started when she was in the womb) - stage, TV, film, stand up, sketches, cabaret, spoken word, singing and hosting... she's done them all. She has been a Funny Women and Laughing Horse Semi Finalist, a Finalist in So You Think That's Funny, was nominated as Best Newcomer in Birmingham Comedy Festival, and was awarded 'Performance of the Festival' by Birmingham Fest for her one woman show, 'Mercedes Benson Presents...the Pleasure is Yours'. " A banging crowd pleaser" - Steve Bennett, Chortle.

Ms Larissa Thorne - Producer

That's me, dearhearts, Ms Larissa Thorne: diva, chanteuse, comedienne. And I have a dream. Actually I have several dreams. Most of them feature firemen. Or rugby players. Or Chris Hemsworth.

But I digress.

I have a dream that I can produce a warm, welcoming and inclusive cabaret night, a scintillating blend of burlesque, drag, variety and stand-up. It's probably more achievable than the one about Chris Hemsworth, but I live in hope.

Little Lady Luscious let me take the reins of Luscious Cabaret in September 2021. It was such a wonderful experience that I had to do it again! And so Glitter & Titter Cabaret was born, a night very much inspired by Luscious Cabaret but with a twist of Larissa.
